On June 9th 2021, I attended the launch at Darling Harbour of “OCEAN DREAMING 2” an NRMA owned Sydney Ferry that will conduct special event cruises in and around the Harbour. The Ferry has been ‘wrapped’ with one of my designs and it highlights the theme of RECONCILIATION and awareness of First Nation People’s perspectives based in and around the foreshores of Sydney Harbour. The text that I have utilised for this project highlights the names of the different Aboriginal Language groups that live within this magnificent body of water. Please see attached written documents for more details.
What was a dream 18 months ago to celebrate The NRMA centenary and start a deeper conversation about the importance of inclusion and reconciliation, I’m thrilled to see this finally come to life after a year no-one planned for. Shout out to the very talented Warwick Keen, our artist and UAP (Urban Art Projects) for their partnership to bring this to life.— Marie Ferrett

The launch of “Ocean Dreaming 2” will also be celebrating Sydney Solstice Festival cruises; Aboriginal Whale Watching Experience and Aboriginal Sky Dreaming adventures.
