“For Aboriginal people, the Dingo appears as a totemism – a connector of spirit and land – while for non-Aboriginal Australians the Dingo remains an archetype, arresting ideas and passions in ‘the Id’, that the primitive and instinctive component of personality, or ego. ‘The Dingo Project’ continues that journey and aims to examine human-animal relations/consciousness and human-human consciousness, across the work of both Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal artists.”
